We help disadvantaged children in Gaza by providing them a safe environment in which to take free IT-related courses. The situation in Gaza is much worse today as a result of Israel’s three week military intervention in the winter of 2008 – 2009, many services are yet to be fully restored and small grassroots charities are particularly hard hit.  PalestineConnect currently operate three community-led centres in the Gaza Strip and employ eight local Palestinians - all of them qualified educators.
Around 3,000 children and young adults benefit from these centres annually.
Despite this, as a small, grassroots charity we rely heavily on small donations from individual members of the public. |
