PalestineConnect was set up as a charity in order to set up, and then cover the operational costs of computer-aided learning centres for the benefit of disadvantaged Palestinian children (background info). Over 3,000 children* benefit directly from these centres - educationally and recreationally.

* Over the last year 3,192 children successfully completed free, structured IT-related courses - 1,656 boys and 1,536 girls, more data can be found @ the bureij centre, maghazi centre and rafah centre pages respectively.

Over 3,000 children and young adults benefit from these centres each and every year.
